Case Study

Bob is a thirty five year old gentleman living on his own following the death of his parents. He had avoided engaging with community services despite having come to the attention of the police. He was living in squalid conditions, was vulnerable to exploitation and his physical health needs were unmet.

Bob was admitted to our service after committing two offences and since his admission twelve months ago has completed a relapse prevention programme, attended college, won an art prize, found new hobbies and interests, learnt to cycle and eat healthily.

Bob is now ready to return to his home armed with new coping skills and behaviour, the motivation to succeed and engage with community services.
