For over a decade, we have worked in partnership with the NHS, developing services and investing in the necessary health infrastructure and staff training, to support patients on their journey to recovery and a more independent and fulfilling life, through step-down to community living – improving social integration and inclusion.
Ludlow Street Healthcare believes that all those entrusted to our care are capable of progress and development and that positive change can be achieved for all. We recognise how important quality of life is to a person’s recovery and have created an environment which promotes rehabilitation and community integration.
Experienced in working with people with mental health and learning disabilities, our highly specialised multidisciplinary teams have designed care pathways around government and health authority-recognized Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) approaches alongside our uniquely developed person-centred Building Better Lives (BBL) recovery model.
In December 2021 Ludlow Street Healthcare became a part of the Holmleigh Group, a specialist provider of essential residential care, supported living and domiciliary care services to adults with a varied range of disabilities and challenges, in their 31 homes in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Swindon and Worcestershire.
Our complimentary services and experience now allow us to offer a more integrated service for our service users, their families and advocates, the Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups, and the NHS.
Our Guiding Principle
We care for people with highly complex needs across all our services and in all our different settings. Wherever they are based and whatever challenges they may be experiencing, our service users lie at the heart of everything we do – and the decisions we make are always driven by what is best for each person in our care.
We always look beyond the presentation to see the person. We take pride in supporting vulnerable people to improve their lives. Helping our service users to meet their goals and live the best life that they can to fulfil their potential beyond their mental health issues or learning disability underpins everything we do.
Our Shared Values

We take the time to see the person, to understand their individual needs and put them at the centre of everything we do

We work as one team, joined by the shared aim to improve the lives of all our service users
