We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Technician with experience of working in mental health or similar healthcare settings, to work in our Forensic Mental Health Unit in Pontypridd. You will have the full support and guidance from an enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Team and wider MDT to deliver effective and recovery focussed 1:1 sessions and groups, to males and females, 18+.

You will work both on the ward, as well as in the Recovery College and local community. The role involves supporting patients that enables an independent lifestyle, away from hospital. Skills development includes shopping and cooking, budgeting, assertiveness, interpersonal and community opportunities.

Heatherwood Court has a wide range of facilities that you will work within including a gym, art room, sensory room, training kitchens and a café. The post is full time and may suit someone interested in developing their skills to apply for Occupational Therapy Training. We offer training and regular supervision to support your personal development.
