An exciting opportunity to join our team as a receptionist at St Peters Hospital in Newport.
You will support the service by providing efficient and professional receptionist duties and general administrative support as and when required. Ideally you will have at least one year’s experience in public customer service in a frontline position and be an excellent communicator and have working knowledge of computer systems.
We will provide you with the training you need to adapt to this role.
As a Receptionist, your role will be:
·To provide a welcoming and efficient front-line service to all clients, colleagues and visitors.
·To operate the telephone system including responding to enquiries, screening and transferring incoming calls.To ensure that the Reception area is clean and tidy at all times and to act as hostess on occasions as required, offering refreshments to our visitors.
To keep records as directed by the management staff.
To undertake such tasks as photocopying, copy typing and making travel arrangements as might be instructed by management.
To exercise integrity in respect of confidential matters and personal information.
Oversee the access and egress of the site.
Salary – £21,193 per annum
Hours – Condensed hours, meaning you will work 7days over a 14day period – Working 2 shifts one week then 5 the next on a 2 weekly rolling rota. 40.25 per week, averaged over the two weeks.
