Ludlow Street Healthcare is an innovative, rapidly expanding organisation that provides specialist care, education and treatment services for individuals with mental health needs.
Due to expansion, we have exciting opportunities for support workers to work in our new home Beech House, Barry South Wales. Beech House is designed to support service users who are living with autism and learning disabilities.
As a support worker, you will ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our clients through their person-centred care plans to achieve and exceed potential.
Normal working week is 38.5 hours worked flexibly Monday to Sunday. Shifts will include days, evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
To be considered for this role, experience of working in a similar role in a secure environment in the Care sector would be preferable but not essential as we are also looking for people with life experience in general.
As a Support Worker at our centre, you will be required to provide residential and therapeutic care to all patients, many of whom present with significant cognitive problems, challenging behaviour and both physical and psychiatric comorbidities. Your day-to-day support will enable them to achieve greater independence and self-responsibility in preparation for stepping down to community placement and social integration. Working alongside our multidisciplinary team, you will work with respect and integrity to help deliver high quality treatment and rehabilitation to each of our patients, at every stage of their illness.
