We are currently recruiting a Unit Manager who must be a qualified Mental Health Nurse or clinically qualified equivalent.

The right candidate would have been in a senior nurse role and within that time developed strong team leadership skills. We are looking for a professional who values psychological approaches to treatment and can bring the MDT together to provide the highest level of care. Person centred care is at the core of our ethos at St Peters, and the correct candidate will have experience in engaging the patient and allowing them ownership and control in their treatment pathway.

You will form part of the hospitals leadership team and will join a team motivated by providing the highest level of treatment, care and service provision. You will be responsible for ensuring your team possess the skills, knowledge and motivation to meet the high level of care expected. You will report to the Clinical Lead Manager and be responsible for the smooth administration of the ward.

Knowledge of working with patients with complex needs and trauma is vital, as well as good knowledge of other mental health conditions, at interview you will be expected to share how you would use this clinical information to guide and inform your teams practice.
