Communal living spaces are light and airy. Homely lounges encourage service users to socialise with each other, watch television or listen to music. Separate quiet lounges offer space for calm, rest and relaxation.
Dining rooms are equipped with modern kitchen facilities so that patients can prepare drinks and snacks in addition to enjoying the freshly cooked nutritious meals from our award-winning kitchen.
Every service user benefits from their own single bedroom which they can personalise according to individual choice, with some bedrooms having en-suite facilities.
Where service users have specific needs, bathrooms and shower rooms are equipped with aides and adaptations for those requiring assistance.
The hospital also has a large purpose-built therapy and activity centre where our experienced Multidisciplinary Team offer an extensive range of clinical interventions and therapies.
Facilities in the Activity Centre include therapy and group rooms, DBT rooms, arts and crafts studio, cinema, games room, coffee bar, IT and education suite, fully-staffed gym, music/sound studio and OT rehabilitation kitchen. Also on site is a horticultural centre to promote the development of further work-related skills.
We also aim to meet the spiritual needs of our patients who are able to make use of a multi-faith centre.
