What does your job involve?
The training team are responsible for making sure all new staff receive a thorough onboarding when they join LSH, ensuring they have all the information they need when they start their new role and that they fully understand the LSH values. We are also responsible for working with existing staff and helping them to understand their potential and providing them with additional training opportunities so that they can grow and develop their careers.
What did you do before this?
I’ve worked in training and development for more than 20 years in lots of different sectors such as manufacturing, food and telecoms.
Why did you join Ludlow Street Healthcare?
I’m a people person, I love training because it’s about helping people, but at LSH it goes one step further because now I’m enabling people to help other vulnerable people. So for me that’s even more rewarding.
What’s the best part of your job?
Helping people to see their own potential and develop new skills … and having a little fun along the way!
